On Friday, May 29th, after watching the chaos of protests erupt across downtown Los Angeles, Frank set out the next morning to document the aftermath, unintentionally mirroring his grandmother’s photographic journey.
That same day, an anonymous tip led him to a second protest in the Fairfax District, his own neighborhood. Knowing the significance of the moment, he bought additional cameras and hit the streets, capturing a single day in history: May 30th.
